#MKINTHEBAG
IN THE BAG WITH MARVIN KING
IN THE BAG1 CommentAll packed up and ready to head out to Yosemite, hands down one of the most beautiful places I've ever visited so of course, I wanted to be as prepared as possible to capture as many moments as I could without overpacking. Overpacking can be a serious problem. You end up bringing a bunch of shit you think you may need but most of the time, it just ends up taking up space in your bag and adds extra weight which ends up doing some damage to your shoulders and back while hiking. The best thing to do in avoiding all of that is to set a rough itinerary of your day so that you know exactly what you will need at specific locations and times. I was only going to be camping for 1 night, 2 days. Expecting plenty of hiking and getting little to no sleep while shooting the stars till sunrise.
Here's what's in my Chrome Niko Pack:
- Canon FD 85mm f/1.2L with variable ND filter
- Mophie Powerstation XL
- Adapt Technology cable bracelet
- Stanley flask
- Yosemite brochure map
- Moment Lens - 60mm + 18mm with caps
- Husky LED flashlight
- Apple iPhone 6 with Moment mount plate
- Bogen Manfrotto Tripod
- Sony batteries x6
- Sony A7ii with Sony battery grip
- Voigtlander 21mm f/1.8 (mounted) with Hoya ND8 filter
- Troll Evil Twins
- Dorcy lamp
- Joby Gorillapod
All laying on top of my Coleman mummy sleeping bag. Although it's summer time, it still gets nippy in the middle of the night.
